WMF Vitalis - Cooking with steam

  • Steaming is globally considered to be the healthiest method of cooking. The principle is simple. The food is not submerged in water and does not steep. This preserves the valuable vitamins and minerals.
Cooking with steam is ideal for everything that does not need to be seared or become crispy. Vegetables remain tender and snappy, poultry remains juicy and fish does not fall apart. Nothing dries out or burns in steam. Food retains its own intense flavour. You can pass on salt for the most part.
The excellent heat transfer of steam ensures that food is also evenly cooked on the inside.

The WMF Vitalis is a must for every modern kitchen.

  • WMF Vitalis

Healthy eating is the motto now – not counting calories or abstaining from anything. The WMF Vitalis suits the trend perfectly. The food is cooked in the rising steam, not in water or fat. The covered roasting pan and steaming rack produce a closed system. The water is brought to a boil in the covered roasting pan and creates steam. The food lays on the permeable steaming rack without coming into contact with the water and cooks in the rising steam. In the WMF Vitalis Asia with an additional steaming insert, several portions or different side dishes can be prepared simultaneously. The new WMF Vitalis Compact is ideal for small amounts.
